Western Australian artist Batsheva Bernstein

draws, prints, makes collages and uses her camera and computer editing skills to work across a variety of mediums.

With the launch of her business label STUDIO SHEVA in 2014, she set up production of a range of premium quality notecards and photographic prints from her home studio.

A resident of the Perth Hills area, she draws inspiration from her immediate surrounds and has become attuned to the seasonal changes nature displays throughout the year.  She enjoys gathering organic materials found during walks in her garden and nearby bushland. These are reconfigured in imaginative fashion to form fanciful pictures with a three-dimensional quality.

Batsheva views the beautification of a home or work environment as essential to the enhancement of well-being, and her art practice aims to convey a sense of harmony and inspiration to further this intent.
